Youth in Action!
Eden's Youth in Action initiatives are the backbone of our "Strategy for Success!" We firmly believe that youth development is the key to combating poverty in America.
When given the proper tools and opportunities, Eden contends that students in underserved neighborhoods will be able to redefine their communities and their personal stories.

Why BYA
Every great city carries stories of resilience — and Baltimore is no different. Behind the stigma of the media are young dreamers, builders, and innovators who see possibility where others see decline.
Yet too often, those dreams fade before they’re given a chance to grow. For generations, disinvestment, unemployment, and lack of access to meaningful education and mentorship have left youth without a clear path toward stability and success.

At BYA, we believe real change starts with opportunity — the kind that teaches, equips, and empowers. Our mission is to "Create a corps of young entrepreneurs committed to "moving our communities forward," transforming ideas into impact.

Through our programs, youth gain more than skills — they gain ownership of their futures. In our Real Estate Development Course, students learn how to transform vacant lots into vibrant spaces, understanding the power of property as a tool for community renewal. Our Digital Marketing Course helps young creatives amplify local voices and strengthen small businesses through storytelling and strategy. And our Business Incubation Hub provides mentorship, resources, and hands-on education that turn bright ideas into thriving enterprises.
Partnering with TWCC, a construction management and real estate development company, BYA bridges learning with experience. Students step onto real job sites, work alongside industry professionals, and see firsthand how vision becomes structure — preparing them not just for employment, but for entrepreneurship.
BYA is more than an organization; it’s a movement of young leaders rewriting what success looks like in Baltimore — grounded in purpose, powered by action, and united by the belief that when youth rise, communities rise with them.
